We began as a team with members from different backgrounds but having a common goal of entertaining people. We strive to instill and enhance ‘bibliophilism’ but with a genuine concern towards Mother Nature. Our expertise in the different genres: horror, comedy, mystery to name a few, we promise to deliver the best from us. Creating a new world of entertainment, we are DG Studios.

DG Studios, a sister company of DG Productions, an Assam based film and television production house was founded in 2014 by Dr. Dilip Ghoshal, eminent physician based in Assam and West Bengal.

Lokabandhu, released in 2016 was the first film under this banner. It was also the first biographical feature film of Assam made on Dr. Bhubaneshwar Barooah, a physician, a freedom fighter, a passionate philanthropist and the founder of Dr. B. Barooah Cancer Institute and Hospital. The film was officially selected in the 21 st KIFF (Kolkata International Film Festival) and screened in RIFFA 2017 (Regina International Film Festival and Awards).

Now DG Productions’ sister company, DG Studios is all set to come up with their new projects.
